Hi!!!
Oh my I am so excited that I don’t even know how to start this blog! For all of you who know me, you know that I have been waiting for this day for soooooo long! Because, my first single on 604 Records “See Through” was released to radio this past Tuesday!! Now I know that I said that the first single would be “Wild Card” the title track off the album, but hey, it’s the music business and things change on a dime! In addition to the excitement of the single, I shot my very FIRST music video with the really creative and talented Stephano Barberis. It was truly a dream come true. I got to be a princess for a day, getting my hair and makeup done and got to test my acting chops a little! We started the day at 9:00 am and didn’t wrap until about 11:30 pm! We shot the video in this amazing Vancouver Penthouse and also shot in the heart of historic Gastown. I just still can’t believe how nice everybody was! I am hoping the video will be out at the end of next week because I really can’t wait for you guys to see it!!
In addition to the music video and single, I have been working with my family on a pilot for a reality show called “Whats New With The Woodworth’s”. That is really all I can say about it right now but stay tuned!!
Also, I have just added some new show dates for this summer! I hope to meet and see some of you again!
Now before I sign off, I thought I would give you a little bit of background behind ‘See Through”. “See Through” is a song that I recorded and co wrote with Canadian producer, Ryan Stewart ( Carly Rae Jepsen, Andrew Allen, Victoria Duffield, Melissa Rae Barrie) as well as the lovely Stacey Mckitrick. It is about a girl who is in love with her best friend yet he is in a relationship with someone else. However, later in the song he realizes he has feelings for her and they kiss but then he goes back to the other girl. I think and well I hope, that “See Through” is a song that people can really relate to.
Ok everybody well I think that is all for now! Oh wait one more thing…. I would really really appreciate it if you could please call your local radio station and request ” See Through”. Being a new artist at radio it would really help me a lot!! And I promise I will be writing a lot more regularly with updated show dates and news!
Oh and ps. Here are some pictures from the shoot!

Hi!!!! Oh my I can’t believe how the time flies!
It has been a really busy couple of months! and I have some very exciting news to report! I received Female Artist of the Year at the British Columbia Country Music Awards!!! It was the most amazing night and I can 100 percent say I was NOT expecting to win! I was actually in the dressing room changing back into my dress ( because I had just performed) when someone was yelling my name so I quickly got ready and they told me I had won! and to hurry up and accept my award because people were waiting! Anyways, I really don’t know how to thank all of you for believing in me . I know I have yet to release a single and the fact that you voted for me in hopes I will do something truly great once I do, gives me so much momentum to push through this sometimes challenging business. I cannot thank you all enough! It was also a big year for my really good friends and co workers David Wills and Paul Shatto. I know co worker isn’t exactly the right word. Well it isn’t at all because they are so much that that. They are the reason I have gotten to where I am. I met both of them at The BCCMA’s as I was the “trophy girl”. David and I started working together right off the bat as he believed in me and my abilities when I still had a lot to learn. So I just want to say a big congratulations to David Wills for winning “Music Person of the Year” and Paul Shatto for winning Producer of the Year”.
It has been a very busy few months of travelling as well! I went down to Nashville on a writing trip and came back with a song I co wrote with Jason Blaine and Tebey and another I wrote with my good friend Kathleen Higgins. I think Kathleen is probably the sweetest girl I know and she is so incredibly talented. We wrote a song at Deric Ruttans house as we were getting ready to attend an ugly clothing party! I am so excited for you to hear this song because it is really special to me as Kathleen lent her vocals to the song and it is a duet! A month later, I headed back down South to record with Chad Carlson! I was so excited and a little nervous because I have heard so much about Chad and he has worked with Taylor Swift a bunch! The minute we met we totally hit it off and I had the time of my life! I am so excited about these last few songs on the record! And that it is almost finished! I even have the title for the album!!! Which I won’t reveal just yet! It is actually a funny story because the day before we left, I needed one more song to record in Nashville. I listened to a lot of songs, but nothing struck me quite right. I just felt like there was a part of me that still wasn’t present on the record and so I called my pal Jesse Tucker and said “Ok we need to write a song that is a hit and I am going to record it in Nashville”. A little cocky I know! Anyways Jesse came over and I told him my idea and within two hours we had a completed song that is my favorite on the record because it is really my autobiography and its the title track for the record.
Along with Nashville I also got to travel to Switzerland! I have never been before and what a beautiful country! I had fondue! Lot’s of it! My waisline didn’t thank me too much but it was worth it! Took the train to Paris! Anyways it was just so much fun! So now playtime is over and it is time to work! The Christmas song had a lot of adds this year! Thank you to everyone at radio for adding it! My first single will be released next month and I cannot wait! For all of you who know me, you know I have been waiting for this for years!!!
I have just put up some new show dates as well so please check those out! For all of you who read this until the end THANK YOU! I will write a lot sooner now and it won’t be as long I promise!
Well I better run! Talk soon!

Hi Everybody!
Time is just flying by! I Can’t believe its October already, well almost November! There’s been a lot going on and well let’s see where do I start! Oh! I went down to Nashville last month for a writing trip to finish up my record! I had such a great time down there. I mean how can you not! For anyone reading this, if you haven’t made a trip down to Music City you must! The history, the music, the people make it such a fun place! Ok well I sound like a travel agent or something but really go! Anyways, I went down for a week and wrote with Jason Blaine, Tebey Ottoh, Craig Monday and Kathleen Higgins and two of the songs I wrote I am cutting next week back in Nashville! One song in particular is really special for me because I co wrote it with my friend and one of my favorite female singers, Kathleen Higgins. I can’t wait to record it and show you all! I will be heading down to Nashville on Monday for a week of recording. Chad Carlson will be producing the four songs and I couldn’t be more excited! Chad has worked with Taylor Swift, Jewel, Chris Issack and Jessie Farrell to name just a few!
I am also very excited because my Christmas song “Christmas( Baby Please Come Home”) will be a part of the 604 Christmas Compilation album and hitting radio across Canada so please look out for that! It is also available on itunes!
This year I was selected for the voice of the PNE parade! I was chosen last year for the Hundred Year Anniversary and it means so much to me to be a part of this, as the PNE has been a huge part of my childhood! Plus it is always fun to be in the studio!
I also want to say a big thank you to all of you who nominated me for BCCMA Female Artist of the Year and Humanitarian of the Year. I have been with Variety the Children’s Charity for about a year and a half as the spokesperson for Gold Heart and I just feel so lucky to be able to work with such a special charity. So far I have made a lot of friends, and met so many families and children that truly blow me away by their courage and strength. It is an honor to be nominated so thank you so much! It is going to be a great awards weekend as there is so much talent here in B.C. Hope to see some of you there!
Oh and for all of you Hockey fans! I am hosting JRFM night at the Vancouver Giants game this Sunday at 5:00 pm. I am going to be singing the anthem and debuting some new songs from the upcoming album!
Well I better let you guys go! Those of you who held in there and read this until the end thank you!!! I tend to talk a lot! Or type a lot! I can’t wait until my album is complete and I get to share it with you, as it has been such a long time coming! I recently did a photo shoot with the amazing Karolina Turek and I thought I would share a few new pics! I just love Karolina! She is such a fantastic photographer and great girl!
Well I think that is all for now! Thank you for stopping by!

Hi Everybody!
Thank you so much for stopping by! A lot has been happening and I can’t wait to tell you about it!!
First off… I am going to be releasing my first single with 604 Records/Universal later this month! I am very excited for you all to hear the song that was produced by Josh Ramsay of the band Mariannas Trench. I feel like the girl who cried wolf… or the girl who cried single I guess! ( because I have been saying one is coming out for a while now) But it will be coming to your local stations later this month!
I have also been in the studio working on completing my album with David Wills and Paul Shatto and heading in next week with Canadian producer Ryan Stewart.
I also have to apologize because I have not put up my recent show dates yet! But my summer is starting to fill up ( yay!) My good pals the Matinee and I will be hitting the road heading to Rock Creek, Merritt, Kamloops, Oliver, Vancouver and more! I will be putting up the details in my show section very soon! I also want to say a huge CONGRATULATIONS! to The Matinee who were selected into the Peak Performance top 20! and on top of that they were selected into the Shore FM’s Songs of Summer contest! I couldn’t think of a more deserving, nice and hard working band then the Matinee. So congrats guys!!
Well I better run! I just wanted to say a quick hello!

Hi Everybody!
I just wanted to check in and say hello because I think my last message was from Christmas! Wow time flies! Right now I am in Palm Springs for a week with my family and while some of you back home may be a little jealous that I am escaping to the warmth don’t be, its freezing! Well actually it’s a bit better today, but the first day we arrived it was -1 and I had to wear my Uggs and puffy jacket! Anyways, I won’t give you a full weather report! We are having the greatest time though! Went to Disneyland yesterday. I was so excited the night before I couldn’t sleep. I felt like that little kid on the DIsneyland commercial ya know? It was so much fun and it was the first time i’ve not had to wait in line for the rides. It just wasn’t very busy. I also got to see Dale and Chip ( Dale is my favourite which is why I put his name first!). Lol some people get excited to see celebrities or professional athletes for me its Dale! Kind of weird I know. But my love for Dale aside, I have some new show dates to put up and also; as soon as I get back I am heading into the studio to record my first single! I am so excited! Also, on February the 13th I am going to be presenting the gold heart cheque along with the international Ambassador to Variety, the lovely Barbara Stewart on the Variety Show of Hearts Telethon, which airs on Global. This is an amazing telethon which raises money for Variety the Children’s Charity and I hope you can tune in! Please visit www.variety.bc.ca for more information on ways you can help donate and get involved.
Well that is all for now! I will check back as soon as I am home!
Thanks for stopping by!
